Our Story
Thrive Steady began with two social workers asking a different kind of question:
What if we could help people develop before they reached a point where something had gone wrong?
We are both trained Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and although our life experiences are different, our professional paths have shared a lot in common. We built careers around understanding people, their behaviors, relationships, challenges, strengths, and capacity for change.
Then, separately, we both made the decision to go to business school.
Business school gave us a different environment in which to observe something we had spent years thinking about as psychotherapists: how people navigate other people.
In classrooms, group projects, workplaces, leadership situations, and everyday interactions, we saw intelligent and capable people who didn't always know what to do when the situation became uncomfortable.
How do you disagree with someone without damaging the relationship?
How do you give feedback or receive it?
How do you communicate when you're frustrated?
What do you do when you don't feel confident in the room?
How do you recognize when your own behavior may be contributing to a problem?
How do you manage stress without letting it affect how you show up?
How do you navigate the unwritten expectations of a workplace when no one has ever taught them to you?
These aren't things most people are formally taught.
We're often expected to simply figure them out.
Our backgrounds in social work taught us that behavior isn't fixed. People can develop greater self-awareness, learn new skills, practice different responses, and change patterns that are no longer serving them.
Our business education helped us see just how valuable those abilities are in the workplace.
That intersection became the foundation for Thrive Steady.
We created Thrive Steady to bring personal development and professional development together. Rather than telling people who they should be, we help them better understand who they already are, identify what's working and what may be getting in their way, and intentionally develop skills and behaviors that support where they want to go.
Because sometimes growth isn't about working harder.
Sometimes it's learning a better way to communicate. Setting a boundary. Becoming more self-aware. Managing your response instead of reacting. Taking care of your energy. Building confidence through practice. Or finally learning something everyone assumed you already knew.
Those changes may feel small. Their impact rarely is.
Aman Singh
Aman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping people recognize their potential and turn it into meaningful change. Throughout his career, he has especially enjoyed working directly with people to understand their behaviors, identify what may be holding them back, and develop the discipline, focus, and skills needed to move forward.
His interest in coaching grew from seeing how much people can change when they have the right combination of self-awareness, support, accountability, and practical tools.
After years of working with people in different professional environments—and later expanding his perspective through business school—Aman began noticing a common challenge: capable people were often struggling with parts of professional life that no one had ever really taught them how to navigate. Communication, confidence, interpersonal dynamics, accountability, focus, and adapting their behavior to different situations could have a significant impact on their success.
Rather than simply recognizing those gaps, Aman wanted to create something that could help address them.
As a co-founder of Thrive Steady, he brings together his background in human behavior, passion for coaching, and business perspective to help people become more intentional about how they grow and how they show up—both personally and professionally.
